The pharmacy payment data displayed on this Web site reflects the average amount paid to the pharmacy by Georgia Medicaid for specific drugs using Georgia Department of Community Health claims payment data. The average paid amount is calculated using the net amount paid for all claims to the provider for the specific drug, after excluding outliers. It represents the amount after all pricing guidelines have been applied, and all third party, copayment, coinsurance and deductible amounts have been subtracted. The average payments presented for package size and price are derived using the most commonly dispensed amounts observed in paid claims data; they do not reflect all of the package sizes or prices available for some drugs.
Accuracy of the Medicaid pharmacy payment information provided on this Web site can be affected by factors such as claims submission and processing practices. Moreover, prescription drug prices may vary from day-to-day.
